Paper Submission
CALL FOR CONTRIBUTED PAPERS AND EXTENDED ABSTRACTS
Participants can submit either an extended abstract or a full paper:
- presenting authors must register for the workshop attendance and are responsible for their registration fees as well as travel and accommodation costs (see travel support)
- all submissions via the online system at PaperPlaza according to the IFAC author guide.
EXTENDED ABSTRACTS
2 pages long
contain sufficient information for thorough evaluation
NOT published on IFAC-PapersOnLine.
FULL PAPERS
between 4 (minimum) and 6 (maximum) pages
limited to 2 MB in size
published on IFAC-PapersOnLine.
Formatting and Templates
Authors are responsible for submitting their paper in the required format. All papers that are accepted will be published as submitted by the Authors. The Conference is NOT responsible for editing or correcting errors in the paper. Click here or see the Author’s guide for more information on creating IFAC-PapersOnLine-compatible PDFs.
Authors can use the Word template or LaTeX style file below to help ensure compliance with paper size and page margins.

Page Limit Restrictions
Accepted papers must at least be 4 pages and at most be 6 pages. There are no extra pages allowed.
Copyright Transfer
We remind the authors that the material submitted for presentation at CPHS 2024 must be original, not published or being considered for publication elsewhere. Full responsibility for the paper rests with the authors, who must have taken the necessary steps to obtain permission to use any material that might be protected by copyright.
The author(s) must grant exclusive publishing rights to IFAC under a CC-BY-NC-ND Creative Commons license when they submit the final version of the paper. The copyright belongs to the authors, who have the right to share the paper in the same terms allowed by the end user license, and retain all patent, trademark and other intellectual property rights (including research data).
Authors must use an electronic form as provided by PaperPlaza. No paper may be included in the proceedings unless its License Agreement Form has been uploaded.
