Professional Development Poster Session

We are excited to invite you to a special Professional Development Activity at the upcoming CPHS'24 conference. This engaging session will take place on Thursday, Dec 12, 12:15pm-1:15pm at the Foyer.

This poster sessions offer a unique opportunity for faculty members, search committee members, and recruiters to interact directly with current undergraduate and graduate students, as well as postdoctoral researchers who are seeking faculty and industrial research positions.

Additionally, this networking event is designed to facilitate connections between junior researchers and established professionals from academia and industry in a relaxed, informal setting. 

This one-hour session will be an interactive workshop focused on developing essential communication skills for success in research and professional careers. We will concentrate on refining "elevator pitches"—concise descriptions of your research—and enhancing networking skills.
